AMS  Asian Musculoskeletal Society

This society was formed in 1999, and consists of radiologists and other individuals with a special interest in musculoskeletal radiology and related fields. Members hail from many countries in Asia, including Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, The Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. We also have international members from the Netherlands, South Africa and the U.S.A. Besides radiologists, members include pathologists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, sports physicians and veterinarians. The AMS aims to promote all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology in Asia. Details of the society's objectives can be found in the AMS constitution.

 

  The Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG)

AMSIG was founded in 1992. The group provides a forum for the professional development of musculoskeletal imaging in Australia and New Zealand. 

The AMSIG Annual Meeting & Conference is held around April or May each year.  The group is also active in promoting education in musculoskeletal imaging, liaison with other similar groups internationally and provides representation on various government bodies. Foot and Ankle brochure.

 

BSSR  British Society of Skeletal Radiologists

The BSSR is the premier organisation for musculoskeletal radiologists in the UK and a special interest group of the Royal College of Radiologists. The society holds regular educational meetings and provides a national forum for discussion of issues relating to musculoskeletal radiology imaging and practice.

 

DGMSR  German Society for Musculoskeletal Radiology (DGMSR)

The German Society for Musculoskeletal Radiology (DGMSR) is the first association in the field of musculoskeletal radiology that specializes or is particularly interested in doctors, MTRAs and scientists in Germany. It represents a targeted, strictly medically motivated, scientifically based use of imaging methods based on medical indications.

The European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) is dedicated to advancing the knowledge, diagnosis and treatment of both the normal and abnormal musculoskeletal system by means of imaging. The ESSR provides a European forum for education and research of musculoskeletal radiology.

 International Skeletal Society  

The mission of the International Skeletal Society is to bring together, through an educational non-profit society, radiologists, pathologists, orthopedic surgeons and other specialists dedicated to the furtherance of the art and science of musculoskeletal imaging and to the understanding, diagnosis and therapy of musculoskeletal disorders.
