Musculoskeletal Radiologist
Radia, one of the 10 largest radiology groups in the country (70+ radiologists), is seeking a Board-certified musculoskeletal radiologist for our Spokane, WA based practice. Eligible candidates will have completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology. Radia covers 3 hospital and outpatient imaging locations in Spokane, more than 12 other hospitals in Washington, and additional outpatient imaging centers. Ability to perform spine pain procedures and/or musculoskeletal ultrasound would be optimal.
The group model is one of subspecialty expertise coupled with the ability to cover general radiology. Candidates would join a group of 10 local non-musculoskeletal radiologists and 7 offsite musculoskeletal radiology subspecialists reading remotely. The individual would work closely with Spokane-based orthopedic, sports medicine, and podiatry providers. The Radia musculoskeletal section reads for at least 22 MRI magnets, with 6 of those being 3T (brand new GE 3T 750 in Spokane). We offer the latest is coil technology and sequences, including T2 mapping of cartilage. Opportunities for practice building in areas of interest exist.
This is partnership-track position with full benefits. Call would not include nights as we have internal nighthawk coverage. Radiologists average 10 weeks vacation per year. Candidates would not be expected to perform mammography.
Spokane is known for its warm summers and ski slopes in the winters.
Please send a CV and cover letter to our physician manager Jo Lingenfelter at jlingenfelter@radiax.com.
