Faculty Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Physician, Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Requirements for the role include:
Board Certification in Radiology and fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology, a track record of building a clinical musculoskeletal radiology practice with a major emphasis in Orthopedics, and the interest and ability to market and develop this service to the community. ACADEMIC MUSCULOSKELETAL RADIOLOGIST

Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network is seeking a fellowship-trained radiologist to join our Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology.

The MSK division currently has seven faculty. The division performs all of the MRI, CT and US of the musculoskeletal system as well as spine CT and MRI referred from orthopedics. The division also does a full range of interventional procedures. The department currently operates multiple MDCT scanners (including nine 64 slice scanners), we have 3 dedicated interventional CT Fluoroscopic units, an open 1.0T MR, seven 1.5T MR, and two 3T MR units and a PET/CT scanner.

The department currently performs approximately 800,000 examinations per year. We are fully PACS (Phillips/Stentor) integrated and utilize voice recognition (PowerScribe) dictation. A dedicated Emergency Radiology Division provides evening and night interpretations

Henry Ford has excellent academic programs with 9 radiology residents per year, multiple fellowship programs including an ACGME accredited musculoskeletal fellowship with three fellows a year.

Henry Ford Hospital is large multi-specialty academic practice in SE Michigan. US News and World Report ranks Henry Ford Hospital in the top 50 Hospitals. The main campus hospital is an active Level I Trauma center and tertiary/quaternary care center for Pulmonary Medicine, Orthopedics, Oncology, Organ Transplant (including liver, heart and lung), Gastrointestinal Disease, Urology and Cardiovascular Disease, amongst others. The Orthopedic department has an active orthopedic oncology practice. These services, combined with a large primary care base, translate into a diverse array of radiological exams with a broad spectrum of pathology.

The successful candidate should have MSK fellowship training or substantial experience. We are seeking candidates interested in teaching and in academic musculoskeletal radiology. We are affiliated with the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY

MUSCULOSKELETAL RADIOLOGIST

This position’s requirements include an M.D. degree and Board eligibility or certification in diagnostic radiology, with fellowship training and/or experience in musculoskeletal radiology. Special training and/or expertise in musculoskeletal clinical services including radiography, arthrography, CT and MRI, as well as bone and soft tissue interventions using CT, ultrasound and MRI guidance are equally important. The candidate must have a license to practice medicine in the state of Florida and meet the qualifications for a full time faculty position at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Jacksonville. 

The responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students, as well as educational activities within the Department of Radiology. This includes conference presentations, tutorial sessions and formal lectures, both within and outside of the Department of Radiology. Clinical services will be performed primarily in a teaching setting with resident or medical student supervision and participation. Research activities will be integrated within the Department of Radiology, on an individual and collective basis.

UCSF Radiology Open Faculty Position
Musculoskeletal Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at UCSF is seeking a musculoskeletal radiologist to be appointed at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor of Radiology in the Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence series depending upon qualifications. This individual will be involved in the clinical, research and teaching activities of the musculoskeletal imaging section. For the In Residence series, the candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program and secure extramural funding. The applicant should have experience in musculoskeletal cross sectional imaging and interventional procedures.

The individual must be able to practice medicine in California, be Board certified in Radiology, and have at least 1 year of training in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
