MSK Faculty Position

The Musculoskeletal Section of Radiology at Stanford University is searching for a full-time Assistant Professor in the Medical Center Line. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Faculty appointed as Assistant Professors in the MCL will have completed their house staff training and, when appropriate, postdoctoral fellowship training. They should have demonstrated during this training period exceptional qualities and promise to become outstanding clinicians and clinical teachers. If these individuals have not had formal teaching experience, they should have demonstrated during their house staff and fellowship training a commitment to develop the skills necessary for outstanding teaching. They must demonstrate excellence or promise of excellence in a combination of clinical performance, clinical teaching and scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine appropriate to the programmatic need upon which the appointment will be based.

Candidates must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology, have completed a formal fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging or documented expertise, and have excellent skills in all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology. Exceptional opportunities exist for research in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging.

MSK Radiologist – Albuquerque/Santa Fe

X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is comprised of 25 highly trained, subspecialized, experienced and caring radiologists. These physicians include some of the top radiologists in the state of New Mexico, several of whom are listed among the best doctors in America and voted Albuquerque's “Top Docs”. For over 60 years, X-Ray Associates' radiologists have a history of being innovators, introducing the latest diagnostic procedures to the state including: the first head CT scanner, the first MRI unit as part of a consortium, the first American College of Radiology accredited mammography with computer-aided detection, and the first hospital interventional service.

We continue to install the most advanced equipment at our 6 outpatient imaging facilities located in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Alamogordo. In order to provide the best subspecialty expertise within the practice, our radiologists work in an interactive, consultative manner using teleradiology and PACS so that the most expert opinion is delivered. Our practice currently includes a mix of outpatient clinics with IR suites and area hospitals.

XRANM currently seeks a partnership-track MSK / General Radiologist for our expanding practice. Ideal background will include fellowship training or equivalent experience. Musculoskeletal Interventional experience is a plus. Mix of work includes MSK plus general radiology. Columbus Radiology is a group of 32 subspecialist board-certified radiologists (including 7 MSK radiologists) who are committed to excellence - in patient care, physician relations, continuous quality improvement and professional development. Outside of work, we are equally committed to ensuring a high quality of life for each radiologist. We cover 5 hospitals in Columbus and central Ohio with state of the art facilities, as well as several outpatient imaging centers nationwide. One of these hospitals is a Level One Trauma Center that is the main trauma referral center for central Ohio. Excellent relationships exist with clinical colleagues in orthopedics and rheumatology. The incorporation of a radiology residency program in the near future is anticipated.

Columbus Radiology launched a remote-reading location in Honolulu in 2008 to provide greater staffing for both Emergency radiology and subspecialty radiology during the evening and night hours in the continental United States. There are currently 5 radiologists permanently assigned to the Hawaii site who are subspecialists practicing MSK Radiology, Neuroradiology, MR Imaging and Nuclear Medicine.

Physician, Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Requirements for the role include:
Board Certification in Radiology and fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology, a track record of building a clinical musculoskeletal radiology practice with a major emphasis in Orthopedics, and the interest and ability to market and develop this service to the community. Holy Cross Hospital Orthopedic Institute is the fifth largest practice in the nation.

The Physician, Musculoskeletal Radiologist will report to Dr. Michael Rush, a Diagnostic Radiologist, Interventional and Vascular Radiology physician leader and founding partner of South Florida Medical Imaging.

The Physician, Musculoskeletal Radiologist will join a dynamic and growing radiology medical team and will reside at the hospital and be employed by the group. He/She will be encouraged to build and enhance this specialty area and assume additional leadership responsibilities based on performance and contribution.
